Aimlabs’ Ranked Seasons event can be described as a competitive, time-limited event where players can test their aiming skills, climb ranks, and earn rewards based on their performance.

Responsibilites involved developing and producing a new theme for each new seasonal release as well as production of rewards for the tiered battlepass that accompanied the event.

AimfestAimfest is a celebration of aim training, competition, and community. Born from the desire to give players something fun before the holiday break, the event is styled as a fictional convention — inspired by the community’s love for anime designs and themed merch. Beleive the whole process wrapped up within 2 weeks by the end.

Dusk RunnersWith the added success of Aimfest, our team was given the approval to not only produced another “Season” of aiming challenges, but customize the experience even further, adding tailored maps, music and tailored monthly store releases.

Season of the Dragon"Season of the Dragon" was our third ranked season, launched in early 2024, celebrating the Year of the Dragon. With the growing popularity of the event, we were asked to increase the variety of environments, rewards and general fidelity of the experience.

WildernessSeason 4 of Ranked Seasons immersed players in the natural beauty of the wild, featuring overgrown forests, deep caves, and mysterious trails. The theming of the battlepass rewards came out of the idea of earning “merit badges” at a summer camp, thus circling back to the outdoor theming.

Chaos vs OrderThe 5th and final season I got to work on introduced a new twist to how players would interact with the battle pass system we had; revolving around a thematic battle between the forces of Chaos and Order. Players could align with characters like Aimee and Mr. Aimlabs representing Order, or Missy and Mr. Aimbad embodying Chaos.

Mr. Aimbad was one of my responsibilities; developing a parallel for Mr. Aimlabs to clash against and expand the growing cast of mascots the game has collected.
While I typically worked closely with the 3D & Engineering team; this season required me to take on a more proactive approach; building the challenge maps out with our map making software proved to be a new and rewarding experience
